I am an award winning  metal-smith and a enamelist.   I love to make jewelry!  My jewelry is bright and bold.  If  you want to be noticed for your unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry, you are going to enjoy my work.

ab5a0254I have always been interested in making art.  Since graduating from college I have studied and worked with china painting, ceramics, water colors, acrylics and oils.  From the early 1970’s through the 1980’s, I painted Folk Art, taught art at a junior college and did juried art shows.  Then, I took  a jewelry class.  I was hooked!!

My Jewelry education is rooted in both classes and books.  I have a passion for learning new ideas and techniques for making jewelry.  Working with metal and stones has filled a need to create and see beauty not filled in other medias.

As a enamelist, living in this beautiful part of the world, I try to capture the mountains and rivers of the Northwest in my enameled cloisonnes.   My work is spontaneous, I sit down to draw a piece of jewelry and the stones or the enamel takes over the designs.  Each piece is different and unique.

My works of art are fabricated by hand and are one-of-a-kind.  The jewelry is signed by me and has my makers mark, an Afghan dog, stamped on the back of each piece.  Ask the store of my makers mark!!
